In this post, I got to talk about some changes
that I would like to make on my study programme. This is a current topic in
psychology in the “Universidad de Chile” because few times ago were in center
of discussion the reformulation of study programme. My idea about it is that
each stage of the programme of psychology must to have different function, for
example: the initial stages would have center on the basic knowledge about
social sciences and introduce to different type of psychology, but also improve
knowledge’s self-students. The middle stages would focus on the practical
experience and deepen in psychology knowledge mixed both type of learning: theories
and praxis. Finally, the final stage would focus on the psychology specialty
and keep the praxis knowledge, all this thinking in the deepening on the practice
of psychologist.
On the other hand about the faculty facilities
I think that all students of psychology must to see a therapy through of unidirectional
mirror but in FACSO don’t there are many of it, just you would see therapy if
you participate of extracurricular group or a particular class, unbelievably
the class of psychopathology and psychiatry don’t have it!, so you must to imagine
the symptomatology. In this sense, the technology would be a way for made up
for the little chances for see a therapeutic process.
However I think that my study programme is
successful if you think in the egress profile because it believe in the general
profile, where you can work in any field of the psychology, it allows you the
flexibility to specialise in a specific area with postgraduate studies if desired.
